I would like to highlight some of our local discount stores. Please comment or email me if you have any more to add to this post!
Springer's - located in Sheffield/Tuscumbia near Helen Keller Hospital and Casa Mexicana. They carry overstocks, including furniture, clothing, home decor, knick knacks, and seasonal decorations. They also carry yarn for people who like to knit and crochet.
Chef Mart - not sure that the term discount store really applies to them, but they sell high quality kitchen items, including used restaurant equipment for reasonable prices. Located in Muscle Shoals on Second Street.
Mike's Merchandise - offers a wide variety of items, especially books. They usually post when they have received a new shipment on their sign. They are located near Jim Bishop Toyota.
